London Bridge terror attack: Six killed and 50 injured
A white van was driven into pedestrians on London Bridge at 10pm last night (Saturday 3 June) before three men jumped out of the vehicle and began stabbing people at nearby Borough Market. Six people have been confirmed dead and around 50 injured.
Armed Police arrived within eight minutes and shot dead the three attackers, who were all wearing fake suicide vests.
Around 50 people were taken to five hospitals across the Capital and a number of people were treated at the scene.
A large area of the South Bank, including London Bridge Station, remains cordoned off this morning (Sunday 4 June) and police have told people to avoid the area.
