London Underground - Night

24 hour tube service to start on the Jubilee line

From tonight ( Friday 7 October) passengers travelling on the Jubilee line will be able to travel between Stratford and Stanmore throughout the night on Fridays and Saturdays, with one train every 10 minutes.

The line becomes the third to introduce the Night Tube and includes London Bridge and Waterloo stations. The line is also close to two of the capital's biggest venues - the O2 arena and Wembley Stadium.

The Night Tube first launched on 19th August on the Central and Victoria lines, with more than 100,000 people using it over the first weekend.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has also announced the Northern Line will run through the night from 18th November.

He added: "Hundreds of thousands of Londoners have already benefited, and it's great news that so many more will now be able to enjoy our world-class cultural venues on the South Bank, as well as venues such as The O2 and Wembley Stadium, without needing to make that late dash for the last Tube."
